This small urban garden serves as a backdrop to an interior and provides a leafy and dramatic view through the edge-to-edge windows. Exterior gently blends with the interior and provides options for outdoor dining/entertainment all year round due to the carefully selected planting palette. Planting is inspired by the plants that grow naturally within the woodland edge range. Ornamental grasses, soft textures and deep green notes work beautifully together to provide a comfortable, peaceful and lush atmosphere throughout the year. The stunning 10 m long green wall continues the linearity of the design masking the existing rear garden wall. It also makes the space feel wider when viewed from within. Planting from the wall is also referenced at ground level so that the two planes meld together seamlessly to present an over-archingly green outside space.
